Zozibini Tunzi Revealed As The Robot on Masked Singer South Africa

Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe titleholder Zozibini Tunzi has been unveiled as the mysterious identity behind the ‘Robot’ on the popular show, Masked Singer South Africa. Reflecting on her experience, Zozibini shared that her biggest takeaway from the competition was overcoming her fears and anxieties, particularly about how her singing would be received by the audience.

“Being on the show made me realize that I am truly capable of becoming a singer because as much as I love music, I always had a fear of how I would translate on stage or how I’d be received by people,”

The 29-year-old beauty queen enthusiastically accepted the invitation to participate in the singing competition without any hesitation, knowing that she wanted to showcase her vocal talent to South Africans.

“I said ‘yes’ without any hesitation when I was called and asked to participate in the show… I didn’t even need to think a lot about it… I knew I wanted to take part. I love to sing, and music is one of the things that bring me the most joy in the world. I also thought that it would be a fun way to introduce myself to South Africans as someone who truly does sing,”

Zozibini Tunzi described her time on the Masked Singer South Africa as a “beautiful experience” due to the show’s secrecy element. The masked nature of the competition allowed her to perform without revealing her identity, which added to the excitement and intrigue of the show.

“My experience on the show was a very beautiful one, especially because there’s so much secrecy around it, and no one knows who you are – all you do is leave your heart on the stage and witness people’s reactions to your talent which is the most beautiful thing about the show,”

Stepping out on stage for the first time was a memorable and cherished moment for Zozibini. Uncertain of what to expect, she held onto the audience’s initial reaction, which she found particularly special.

“My most memorable moment on set was when I first stepped out on stage. I didn’t know what to expect or how well I’d sing, but I always hung onto the audience’s first initial reaction, which I think was very special,”
