Zimbabwean Promoter And Changamire Awards Founder Responds To Nadia Nakai’s Criticism, Accuses Her Of Wasting Time On Makeup
Zimbabwean promoter and founder of the Changamire Awards Jackson “Zimboy” Muchechetere has responded to rapper Nadia Nakai’s criticism accusing her of wasting time after spending two hours on makeup.
Nakai had previously called Muchechetere unprofessional after being invited to the Changamire Festival Awards as a special guest.
Nadia Nakai Attacks Changamire Awards Founder
It is alleged that Nadia Nakai did not receive payment from Jackson Muchechetere following her appearance at the Changamire Festival Awards.
This prompted her to share her dissatisfaction on Instagram, warning her followers and colleagues in the industry to avoid working with Muchechetere and labeling him as a con artist.
“@jacksondezimboy is a con artist! Don’t work with him. Ever! And that’s on peerrriod! What he’s put me through! Hai never again! The amount of DMs I’ve got since my post telling me how much of a scammer he is! Like wow, bro!”
Jackson Zimboy Responds
In response to the controversy between himself and Nadia Nakai, Jackson Zimboy has criticized the “Naaa Meaan” hitmaker for her unprofessional behavior.
Speaking on The Danny J Show, he clapped back:
“She started having makeup. So her makeup lasted from 9 pm till past 11 pm. And I was just seated there in the lobby. And we waited and waited. I know everyone doesn’t know about all of this because I have not been given a platform to really say my side of the story.
“So it’s past 11, right? Now we are going to the awards. It didn’t make sense, of course, that I make them do the awards and end them before me and Nadia come in. It was not gonna be fair for people who had paid to see Nadia Nakai. So I made them delay for us. Then we finally went to the Changamire Awards.
Jackson Muchechetere expressed his dissatisfaction with Nadia Nakai’s behavior, stating that she refused to walk on the red carpet and pose for photographs in front of the sponsors’ banner, who had contributed to funding the award show.
