The streets of Osizweni, Newcastle were closed off last night as its residents celebrated the victory of one of their own, Khosi Twala, who won season one of Big Brother Titans.

The moment when Lawrence Maleka and his Nigerian co-host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Khosi as the winner of the show will be cherished forever by the people of Newcastle.

Khosi emerged as the winner of the 11-week-long Big Brother Titans competition, earning a grand prize of R1.8 million in USD after successfully making it to the top six contestants.

In the showdown, the competition was narrowed down to two contestants, with Khosi facing off against Kanaga Jnr, a 23-year-old fan-favorite from Nigeria.

As the co-hosts built up the suspense by delaying the announcement of the winner, Khosi and Kanaga Jnr hugged tightly, both oozing with nervousness.

Finally, when Lawrence announced Khosi as the winner, the ecstatic journalist broke away from Kanaga Jnr’s embrace, jumping in her high heels before falling to her knees in tears of joy.

Kanaga Jr walked up to her, knelt on one leg, and congratulated her on her victory.

The excitement and joy of Khosi’s victory reverberated throughout her hometown of Osizweni, with fans leaving their homes and bringing the KZN township to a standstill.

The entire community came together to celebrate, with partygoers filling the streets, shouting at the top of their lungs, “Khosi, we wanna party!”

Despite Khosi’s move to Johannesburg to pursue her career as a news reporter, the residents of Osizweni celebrated her victory in the Big Brother Titans competition.

Throughout her time in the Big Brother house, Khosi showcased her talkative and open-minded nature, which helped her navigate through the challenges of the competition.

Following her victory, one YouTuber described her as “Kink Khosi, the mover, the shaker, the player, the most strategic,” highlighting her strategic gameplay and ability to make things happen.

Twenty-four contestants from Nigeria and South Africa battled it out in this year’s reimagined Big Brother Titans.
