Uzalo’s Captain Nyawo Gets A Protection Order Against Durban Gen Actress Threatening Him
Actor Cebo Mthembu who portrays the role of Captain Nyawo from KwaMashu on SABC 1 soapie Uzalo has obtained a protection order against his girlfriend Nanamhla Dalasile, a Durban Gen actress.
The two’s love life has spilt into the hands of the police after revelations that Nanamhla had been threatening and stalking Uzalo actor.
The issue started when Nanamhla discovered that Cebo Mthembu had a baby mama that he had not revealed to his girlfriend in the whole 4 months of their relationship.
She then became upset and started threatening Mthembu who allegedly got into the relationship with her after promised an acting gig.
According to Nanamhla, the two started dating back in February and Cebo Mthembu had never mentioned that he had a son or a baby mama.
Narrating the ordeal of how she got to sign a protection order, Nanamhla says she 2as tricked into signing the order after the two had a fight.
She says the protection order was a way out for Cebo whose intentions were clear that he wanted out of the relationship, but had just not revealed verbally.
“He called and asked to meet at The Workshop Shopping Centre to iron out our differences. When I got there he hid from me.
After a few minutes the police came and ordered me to sign the protection order. I signed it but never saw him,” said the Durban Gen actress.
But Mthembu insists that Nanamhla started threatening him after she discovered his double life.
He says she had been stalking her so he had to go to the police.
“The matter is now in the hands of the police. I didn’t feel safe. Yes, I know her. But I won’t go into detail.
Me rushing to the police should tell you something is wrong,” said Imbokodo FM presenter who did not wish to address the matter publicly.
Apart from playing the role of the much loved Captain Nyawo who keeps viewers enthralled with his pompous high sounding English on Uzalo, Cebo Mthembu hails from the far north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal studied Electrical Engineering and is employed by the country’s power utility Eskom as a technician inspector.
