Uncle Waffles To Return To Coachella Weekend For Another Perfomance

Lungelihle “Uncle Waffles” Zwane, the renowned amapiano DJ, is set to make her fourth appearance at Coachella in Indio, California, this coming weekend. Fans are eagerly anticipating her upcoming performance after she made headlines with her recent shows at the festival.

Uncle Waffles’ History-making Performance

During her previous appearance, Uncle Waffles made history by becoming the first amapiano DJ to perform on the main stage during the prime time before Bad Bunny’s performance on the Sonora stage. Her performance was praised by many, as she delivered an energetic set with choreography while wearing a sparkly pink jumpsuit. Despite experiencing some technical difficulties, Uncle Waffles managed to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

Other South African Performances at Coachella

Uncle Waffles is not the only South African DJ to have graced the Coachella stage. In 2022, Black Coffee, a Grammy award-winning DJ, delivered an hour-long set at the festival’s Sahara tent. Major League DJz, consisting of Banele and Bandile Mbere, also performed on two stages at Coachella.
