Thembinkosi ‘TK’ Nciza, the ex-husband of Nhlanhla Mafu, is currently entangled in a legal trouble with Standard Bank in Johannesburg. The bank is seeking the repossession of his extravagant R1.3 million Mercedes-Benz due to his failure to meet agreed monthly payments.
Rising Living Costs Impacting South Africans
It’s not just ordinary South Africans who are grappling with the challenges of soaring living costs. According to a report by Sunday World, TK Nciza, who also serves as the African National Congress (ANC) Gauteng provincial secretary, acquired a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S400L on June 15, 2016. Receipts confirm the car’s price at R1.3 million, and it was purchased in Randpark Ridge, northern Johannesburg.
Defaulted Payments and Legal Consequences
Under the terms of the agreement with Standard Bank, TK Nciza committed to repaying R1.9 million through 72 monthly installments of R23,000, excluding the R349,000 balloon payment due on July 5 last year. Unfortunately, TK Nciza hasn’t made any payments since last year. Court documents quoted by Sunday World reveal that as of June 13, 2022, TK owes the bank R133,377.79 in arrears.
Unconventional Romance: TK Nciza and Lebo Phasha
In a separate development, TK Nciza and his fiancée, Lebo Phasha, garnered attention with an Instagram video where they shared insights into their romantic life. They encouraged viewers not to confine pleasure to the bedroom, suggesting that pleasure should be enjoyed everywhere, stating, “Do not limit yourself when it comes to pleasure; have it everywhere. Bedroom for what? For who? Yes, we want spicy.”
A man, believed to be Nciza, echoed her sentiments, questioning the need for restricting pleasure to the bedroom, saying, “Bedroom for who?”
