Thami Ndlala, the spouse of renowned media personality Lerato Kganyago, is currently entangled in a bitter eviction dispute with his landlord, Urban Mountains.
The successful businessman and property owner had been leasing the property at 14 on Hillell Northcliff, conveniently situated adjacent to his 12 On Hillell Villa and Spa. During his occupancy, he made substantial improvements amounting to a hefty R1.3 million.

However, he now faces alleged eviction before the scheduled conclusion of his three-year lease agreement, initially entered into in August 2021.
Ndlala has responded by taking legal action through the South Gauteng High Court, alleging that Urban Mountains and its director have defaulted on their financial obligations to creditors.
He petitioned the court to probe the company’s financial status and initiate its liquidation, citing multiple unanswered letters to the landlord demanding the outstanding R1.3 million owed to his company. Ndlala contends that Urban Mountains lacks other assets to cover debts owed to him and other creditors.
According to court documents, his landlord approved the renovations, which encompassed constructing a wall between 12 on Hillell Villa and Spa and 14 on Hillel, installing a swimming pool, engaging land surveyors, engineers, and constructing a guardhouse.
