DJ Black Coffee, a Grammy Award-winning South African DJ, faced legal trouble for reckless driving. In 2015, he was arrested for allegedly driving at a speed of 200km/h in a 120km/h zone on the N1 highway in Gauteng.
Brickz, a prominent Kwaito star, made headlines when he was implicated in a rape scandal. Eventually, he was found guilty of raping a teenage relative and sentenced to 15 years in prison. While incarcerated, there are rumors that he has turned to gospel music and joined the prison choir.
Trevor Noah, a renowned comedian, faced a brief arrest period due to suspicion of car theft. However, he was released on bail after a week.

MacDonald Ndou, popularly known for his portrayal of KK on the television series Muvhango, was arrested by the Hawks in 2019. He faced charges of theft, corruption, and extortion.
