“SA Is Not A Retirement Home”:
Tamia’s South Africa Tour Draws Criticism On Social Media

Acclaimed Canadian singer and songwriter, Tamia, is scheduled to embark on a tour in South Africa later this year, but unfortunately, some social media users from the country have mocked her and labeled her as “washed.”

The multi-Grammy award nominee has previously visited South Africa three times in the past decade.

During her upcoming tour, she is set to perform live in three cities across the country.

G21 Live and Vertex Entertainment have jointly revealed that the Grand Arena in Cape Town on 4th July, the Durban ICC in KwaZulu-Natal on 7th July, and the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 8th July will witness the performance of the So Into You sensation.

Ticketpro has announced the limited sale of tickets for Tamia’s show, with prices ranging from R390 to R1490.

The singer has expressed her love for South Africa over the last decade, having visited the country four times.

Some social media users alleged that Tamia’s career is in its twilight, and she is coming to South Africa because she is no longer a cash cow.
