Ntuli and his wife, Sinenhlanhla “Sne” Zungu, had celebrated their matrimony with a white wedding on the 9th of September. The Umabo, a traditional ceremony where the bride is formally embraced into the groom’s family, had been planned for the initial weekend of November.

Tragically, the life of Bonginkosi Ntuli took a heart-wrenching twist as he and his wife prepared for their Umabo. Sources intimately acquainted with the families disclosed to Zimoja that Bonginkosi had been on a path to recovery after undergoing surgery just one month earlier at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital in Durban. The couple had been filled with delight and anticipation as they eagerly awaited their special day. However, their euphoria was tragically shattered when Ntuli suddenly experienced excruciating pain, necessitating his immediate hospitalization.

A source close to the family revealed, “They had a beautiful day. They had just finished purchasing food and beverages for the Umabo when Bongi began complaining of severe pain. He was swiftly rushed to the hospital.”

Sne chose to postpone the Umabo until her husband’s recovery. Regrettably, his untimely passing left everyone in shock and sorrow.
