Zahara’s battle for life takes a distressing turn as her two sisters allegedly exploit her dire situation, seizing her bank cards for a lavish shopping spree. The unfolding drama reveals a shocking disregard for Zahara’s well-being amidst her fight for survival.

Zahara’s Sisters Indulge in Shopping Extravaganza

Lumka and Bandezwa Mkutukana, currently residing at Zahara’s home, reportedly embarked on a shopping spree, ignoring pleas from Zahara’s fiancé, Mpho Xaba, for financial support. The duo explored various downtown shops, indulging in counterfeit luxury brands and inexpensive makeup, oblivious to their sister’s critical condition.

“The two sisters went shopping while their sister lay in a hospital bed fighting for her life. They went to Small Street, downtown Jozi, where they bought all the fake brands from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Diesel, and other brands. For them, shopping at those dingy shops made them feel like they were shopping in Dubai, Paris, or New York. They got some cheap makeup too. Their bags were full of fake material.”

Incensed by their actions, Xaba sent Lumka and Bandezwa back to the Eastern Cape. When questioned about the allegations, they declined to comment. Zahara’s manager, Oyama Dyosiba, expressed shock at the situation but refrained from providing further comments.

Financial Disputes amid Life-Threatening Crisis

The dramatic events unfolded when Xaba denied the sisters access to the private hospital where Zahara battles for her life. Growing uneasy after overhearing discussions about life insurance instead of aiding with the mounting medical bills, Xaba made the decision to send them away.

Zahara, admitted after her 36th birthday celebration, slipped into a coma due to severe liver complications. Medical tests conducted over a fortnight ago led to her ICU admission. Doctors had warned her about liver problems in 2019, advising her to abstain from alcohol for a longer and healthier life.

A source in Zahara’s camp disclosed, “Her liver is so damaged that she might need a transplant.”

The unfolding saga not only puts Zahara’s life at risk but also sheds light on the familial disputes and financial complexities exacerbating an already dire situation.
