Nota Baloyi Flees AKA’s Home Following Unwelcomed Visit

Controversial music industry insider Nota Baloyi reportedly fled AKA’s home in Bryanston, Johannesburg after visiting to pay his condolences to the Forbes family.

It is speculated that the visits of other high-profile figures such as DJ Oskido and ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula may have influenced Nota’s decision to visit.

Rapper Yanga Chief, who is a friend of AKA, revealed that Nota Baloyi’s visit to AKA’s home was unwelcome.

Yanga tweeted:

“You were turned away from Kiernan’s home yesterday!!! (Claiming you’re SABC). Next thing, you are accusing everyone of BS. You’re pathetic! Always have been and always will be!! F*ck you Nota!! We don’t need you!!! Never did, never will!! You’re a fraud!!”

On Twitter, an old interview of AKA has surfaced in which he stated that Nota visited him in Cape Town to offer support following the death of his then-girlfriend Nellie Tembe in 2021.

Nota allegedly used the information he learned from his interactions with AKA’s family to attempt to ruin the rapper’s career.

Nota has been relentlessly promoting conspiracy theories about the possible motive behind AKA’s death and has been accusing the late rapper’s friends of being complicit in planning and carrying out the suspected assassination.

Yanga Chief was very angry with Nota, whom he accused of seeking attention and promoting a divisive and opinionated culture. He also argued that spreading conspiracy theories would hinder the investigation into the murder and indirectly protect the actual culprits.

Twitter users expressed mixed reactions when Yanga revealed that Nota was chased away by AKA’s family when he pitched up to pay condolences.

“I think Nota is just deeply hurt. Instead of crying like everyone else, he is expressing his feelings in other ways.

“Kodwa, this fighting ain’t necessary….it’s hardly 72 hours since AKA’s passing….now you want this to be about you two… Can at least 1 of you play a bigger person and avoid this public spat?”

“Nota is disrespectful, and for as long as people entertain his crap, he’s never gonna stop. Now he’s trying to gain relevance at AKA’s expense.”
