“No More Donations For You”| South Africans Mock Dr. Malinga As Missed Flight Leaves Him Stranded In Zimbabwe

South African musician, Dr. Malinga was left stranded in Zimbabwe after he missed his flight back home.

The singer had just performed in Gwanda and shared on Twitter that he had missed his flight.

“Missed my flight in Zimbabwe 😭😭, “Dr. Malinga wrote.


Social media users responded with mocking jokes and memes, and some users even suggested that he make the journey back to South Africa by walking across the border or hitchhiking.

Dr. Malinga made headlines recently after it was revealed that he had financial struggles. During an interview on the “Podcast and Chill with MacG” show, the musician spoke about his issues with the South African Revenue Services (SARS) and revealed that he owed more than R500,000 in taxes.

During the show, Dr. Malinga became emotional and even shed tears while recounting how SARS had auctioned off his belongings and furniture to pay off his debt.

Although his fans and colleagues in the industry raised R100,000 to assist him, it appears that the musician’s financial challenges persist.

Even though Dr. Malinga has previously requested financial support, many South Africans have not shown sympathy towards his missed flight.
