In a shocking twist of events, Sphamandla Mabonga, former boyfriend of Londie London, finds himself in legal trouble following a violent shooting incident that transpired last Saturday.
Charges and Confrontation
According to the court documents, Mabonga faces charges including two counts of murder, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, illegal possession of a firearm, brandishing a firearm, and discharging a firearm within city limits.
The unfortunate incident unfolded in the early hours of Saturday at Tempo, where Mabonga allegedly initiated a confrontation with the club’s security staff in Sunninghill. Denied entry due to carrying a firearm, Mabonga purportedly resorted to gunfire, resulting in injuries to himself and others, including security personnel.
Further revelations in the charge sheet indicate two additional cases involving Mabonga. One relates to an incident at Konka, a Soweto nightclub, leading to a complaint filed at the Kliptown police station. The other case involves charges of kidnapping and assault, reported at the Bramley police station.
It has also been brought to light that Mabonga’s legal name, as stated in the charge sheet, is Bongani Pjazil Maocuana. In addition to the charges mentioned earlier, he is also under investigation for extortion.
Presently, Mabonga is under tight police security at a Johannesburg hospital. His next court appearance is scheduled at the Alexander magistrate’s court on Monday.
Londie London’s Response
Meanwhile, Londie London, known for her role on the reality show “Real Housewives of Durban,” has distanced herself from Mabonga. She firmly states that their relationship has come to an end.
