Musician Nomcebo Zikode Bags Yet Again Another International Award
Nomcebo Zikode won two awards recently: the Grammy Award and the Forbes Top Entertainer award. The Forbes award ceremony occurred on March 11, 2023, at the SunBet Arena.
Nomcebo was happy to win the Forbes award and said it was an honor. She thanked everyone who had supported her and was grateful that Forbes had recognized her talent. She also said she enjoyed being recognized abroad and was thankful for being an international artist.
Nomcebo won the Grammy Award for her work on the song “Bayethe” with Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman. She said she was happy to have won the award but didn’t record music to win prizes. She records music to change people’s lives and touch people’s hearts.

Nomcebo hopes her success will inspire others to believe anything is possible. She believes that she has put South Africa on the map and that more South Africans will win Grammys.
In her statement, she said:
“I always believe that God’s timing is never wrong. I don’t want to complain as much as I’ve been recognized more outside the country or overseas. Instead, I want to thank God that He has made me not only for South African but an international artist.
“I’m thankful to everyone who has been supporting me in South Africa and to everyone who has recognized my talent, including Forbes. Maybe this is how God wanted things to unfold with me, so I’m happy.”
Nomcebo is working on new music and will release it on her social media platforms. She knows her fans have been waiting for her new music, and she promises it will be a banger.
