Manchester United Pays Homage To AKA With A Heartfelt Gesture

Manchester United pays tribute to the late South African rapper, AKA, who was shot and killed outside a restaurant in Durban, South Africa last month.

According to police reports, AKA was shot six times and died at the scene while his bodyguard was also injured. The Red Devils paid tribute to the rapper in their program for their FA Cup game against West Ham on Wednesday. The obituary section displayed a heart-warming tribute to the rapper who was a staunch Man United supporter.

Manchester United expressed their deep sadness and condolences to Kiernan Forbes also known as AKA, his family, and loved ones in their tribute. AKA was a huge supporter of Manchester United and was greatly adored by many.

The rapper often hyped his fellow countrymen Benni McCarthy on social media. Just before his tragic death, AKA shared a post from Man United’s Instagram account hyping Benni McCarthy on his Instagram stories.

AKA was well-known for making a lot of noise on social media when Manchester United was playing. He would even go public on betting a lot of money on Manchester United. The rapper also has gotten his whole family the jerseys of the team which they would wear on game day.

In honor of AKA, McCarthy posted two pictures on his Instagram page to show his appreciation for Manchester United for their tribute. Benni McCarthy shared the cover of the Manchester United Match Programme with a nice mention for his brother, AKA.
