The lead investigator in the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa murder trial case has unveiled another astonishing detail regarding South African songstress Kelly Khumalo.
Cross-Examination Bombshell: Kelly Khumalo’s Unusual Move
Brigadier Ginida, currently under cross-examination at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria, made this shocking revelation yesterday during Senzo Meyiwa’s murder trial.
According to his affidavit, just hours after Senzo Meyiwa was killed, Kelly Khumalo and her sister Zandile approached a nearby witch doctor for ritual cleansing. Notably, the accused in Senzo Meyiwa’s murder case are also reported to have sought similar services after the footballer’s death.
Premeditated Assassination: Lead Investigator Drops Shocking Details
This revelation follows Brigadier Ginida’s earlier court statement that Senzo Meyiwa was assassinated. Evidence from the investigation indicates that the murder was a premeditated act orchestrated by a group of five individuals.
Kelly Khumalo, known for the hit song “Bazokhuluma,” was implicated as the mastermind behind Senzo Meyiwa’s assassination. Accused 1 and 2, Muzi Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi, claim that Kelly Khumalo ordered the killing.
Additionally, the affidavit unveiled cellphone linkages between Kelly Khumalo and accused 3 and 5. Communication records between Kelly Khumalo and her sister, Zandile, indicated a desire to harm Senzo Meyiwa.
Senzo Meyiwa was shot to death by unknown gunmen who were just shared as home intruders for years. He was at the Khumalo residence when he got shot and pronounced dead on arrival to the hospital. At the time of his death Meyiwa was dating vocalist Kelly Khumalo and the two have a child together.
