Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, a well-known socialite doctor, has recently become a topic of conversation in the media following reports linking her to her boyfriend, Thabo Bester, who was convicted of murder and rape.
Prior to this revelation, Dr. Magudumana had been leading a seemingly ordinary life.
Nevertheless, her arrest has shed light on her lavish lifestyle that was far from ordinary.
Before her arrest, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana was known for her extravagant way of life, which included extensive travel to exotic destinations such as Bali in Southeast Asia and the United Arab Emirates, among others.
The South African reports that, unlike most people, she didn’t have to endure long queues or baggage scans when flying.
In one instance, she even captioned,
“Even the pilot knows he can’t move the plane without a picture first.”
It is true that Dr. Magudumana’s taste for luxury was not entirely uncommon. Driving luxury vehicles like Mercedes and Range Rovers would certainly be a dream for many.
In terms of her living situation, reports suggest that Dr. Magudumana resided in a magnificent mansion valued at a staggering R12 million in Hyde Park.
She reportedly shared this luxurious residence with her boyfriend, who was recently captured after evading the authorities for some time, and is alleged to have been her partner in crime.

Dr. Nandipha’s Personal Life
It appears that Dr. Magadumana had developed a network of high-profile connections with celebrities and media personalities in South Africa.
Her social media accounts show numerous photos of her rubbing shoulders and socializing with some of the country’s most prominent figures, including former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, respected news reporter Redi Thlabi, and acclaimed Tsotsi actor Terry Pheto.
It is worth noting that Terry Pheto has also been associated with controversy recently in connection with the National Lottery Commission scandal involving Arthur Mafokeng.
Dr. Magadumana’s bold and confident demeanor was evident during her appearances on SABC 3’s Afternoon Express in 2018 and 2019, where she discussed her company, Optimum Medical Aesthetics, located in Sandton.
However, rumors began to circulate that Dr. Magadumana was not registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
According to eNCA, if it is discovered that Dr. Magadumana continued to practice medicine after her license was suspended in April 2021, she could face criminal charges.
