Sbahle Mpisane, renowned for her appearances on reality TV and recognized as the stepsister of Andile Mpisane, recently faced legal challenges after she was arrested.

The daughter of former traffic officer and businessman turned politician Sbu Mpisane, and Shauwn Mkhize’s stepdaughter, Sbahle, was arrested for reckless and negligent driving during the festive season.

Legal Turmoil Unfolds as Sbahle Mpisane arrested

Caught in Midrand, the incident led to Sbahle spending several hours in police holding cells before being released on bail.

Official Confirmation from Gauteng SAPS

Gauteng SAPS spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed the incident, revealing that Sbahle Mpisane had already made her initial court appearance and is scheduled to re-appear soon.

“I will confirm her court dates. Yes, the incident happened on Maxwell Drive, in Midrand. A 30-year-old woman was arrested and charged,” Masondo informed ZiMoja.

Reflecting on 2018: Sbahle’s Past Car Crash

While specific details of the recent traffic infringement are not readily available, it is noteworthy that Sbahle had previously experienced a traumatic car accident in 2018.

The 2018 accident occurred around 4 am on the Victoria Embankment opposite Wilson’s Wharf in Durban. Rushed to an undisclosed hospital with multiple traumatic injuries, Sbahle’s BMW caught fire, resulting in a case of reckless and negligent driving opened at the Durban Central police station. Throughout her recovery, Sbahle mentioned suffering severe head trauma and memory loss.

Sbahle’s Silence Amidst Latest Charges

Despite attempts to contact Sbahle for comments on the recent charges, she remains unreachable.
