Fans Express Concern For Babes Wodumo After Metro FM Music Awards Appearance

Babes Wodumo, the South African music artist, left her fans concerned after her appearance at the Metro FM Music Awards held on May 6th at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga. Fans noticed that the Wololo hitmaker’s performance was not up to her usual standard, which some attributed to the recent passing of her husband, Mandla Maphumulo, affectionately known as Mampitsha. The musician passed away due to a stroke on December 24th, 2022.

According to one of her fans, “Babes Wodumo is still mourning her husband. She is probably crying backstage after hearing the voice of her late husband on that back track. She was even crying on stage obviously most people didn’t see it, her voice was strained even before she started singing.”
