The former couple, who share a son and are currently going through a divorce, are engaged in a contentious battle over the ownership of Drip Footwear. Lebohang insists on receiving 50 percent of the company.

Confession of a Hitman

City Press recently reported that one of the hitmen involved confessed to being hired by Lebohang. The hitman was apprehended in Wierdabrug, Pretoria, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, extortion, impersonating a police officer, and illegal possession of a firearm. According to his statement to the police, he and his accomplices met a woman believed to be Lebohang in September 2021. Allegedly, she introduced herself as the owner of a well-known luxury footwear brand and offered them R1.2 million for successfully carrying out the murder of her husband.

The hitman’s confession continued, stating that Lebohang provided photos of her husband and assured them that money would not be an issue. She requested four days to withdraw fifty thousand rand each day. Additionally, she asked to purchase a cocked firearm for self-protection during their next meeting.
