Two domestic employees missing and presumed dead

Magudumana has said she would explain what happened to their two missing domestic employees who were reportedly last seen at their hideout rental home in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, last month. Earlier this month, police were looking for the couple’s helper and gardener who allegedly vanished and are believed to have been buried in the yard of the upmarket mansion.

Family of Katlego Bereng Mpholo suing state

The bodies of the domestic employees are not the only ones Magudumana and Bester have to answer for. The police confirmed the identity of the charred body found in Bester’s cell, which was initially believed to be his after he staged his death to escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in Bloemfontein on 3 May last year. After DNA tests were conducted, police said that the body is that of 31-year-old Katlego Bereng Mpholo.

An autopsy report revealed that Katlego had died due to blunt force trauma to the head and was already dead before the prison caught fire. According to an interview with eNCA, Katlego’s family said that they are suing the state. Batho Mpholo, who is Katlego’s father, said they still have not been allowed access to his remains. “We have been receiving calls from high-level legal teams who are willing to help us,” said Katlego’s father.
