Social media has become a battleground as netizens point fingers at DJ Sbu and TK Nciza, holding them responsible for Zahara’s tragic death.

The Dj Sbu and Zahara Controversy

The late Zahara, a multi-award-winning artist, was formerly signed under DJ Sbu and TK Nciza’s record label. The feud between Zahara and DJ Sbu has been ongoing, marked by conflicting statements from both parties. However, following Zahara’s demise, social media erupted with accusations against DJ Sbu and TK Nciza. Netizens claim that the alleged exploitation led Zahara into a dark spiral of depression and alcohol abuse, suggesting that had she been paid what she was owed, she might still be alive today.

Social Media Reactions

Here are some reactions on social media:

@ZeeNahTee22: “Record deal that changed her life and F***ed up her life. Mqundu we TS records and DJ Sbu. If it wasn’t for TS records ‘Zahara bulewla mkukana’ would be alive today. Just like they screwed over Brown Dash and Pro Kid.”

@whydntyouluvme: “DJ Sbu and TK Nciza took a talented, naive girl from the village and made her sign a record deal that she didn’t understand. They used Zahara’s trusting nature to exploit her. She fell into a deep depression and became an alcoholic. The music industry is EVIL!! #RIPZahara”

@Maluda012: “We will never forget what you did to Zahara. Bro didn’t even show remorse. Sbu mustn’t find peace ever and forever Amen.”

@Madikiza: “@djsbu and Nciza discovered her only to exploit her. Selfish individuals. His career as DJ Sbu and Mzekezeke were not doubling or tripling profit margins… The graph was moving downwards. They should be ashamed of themselves. Phumlani residents nibabethe ooSbu if they come.”

These sentiments reflect the deep-seated anger and disappointment among Mzansi residents towards DJ Sbu and TK Nciza in the aftermath of Zahara’s tragic passing.
