Bonang Matheba joins Young, Famous & African season two on Netflix
South African media personality Bonang Matheba is set to make her return to reality TV as she joins the second season of Netflix’s Young, Famous & African. Her presence on the show is expected to create a buzz and ruffle a few feathers.
Bonang’s successful run on Being Bonang and B*dazzled
Bonang Matheba’s fans have been eagerly waiting to see what the star has been up to, from her romantic life to her business ventures. Her return to reality TV follows a successful three-season run of her show Being Bonang on Mzansi magic, which was followed by her venture into the YouTube space with B*dazzled in January.
New faces on the show
Alongside Bonang, Ghanaian-American rapper Fantana and former Big Brother Africa contestant Luis Munana are also set to join the show. The all-star cast from season one will also make a return, including Diamond Platnumz, Andile Ncube, Zari Hassan, Khanyi Mbau, and Nadia Nakai.

Viewers will be anticipating answers to some of the unresolved questions from the previous season, such as what happened between Diamond Platnumz, Andile Ncube, and Zari Hassan after their chance encounter in Diamond’s home, and the status of everyone’s friendships after the many arguments and dramas that ensued from Khanyi Mbau and Nadia Nakai.

The show will also feature appearances from Andile Ncube’s partner, model, and socialite Sebabatso Mothibi, as well as his baby’s mother, supermodel Rosette Ncwana.

Bonang expressed her excitement for the show on Twitter, writing “This was fun!!”. Fans of the show and of Bonang Matheba are eagerly anticipating the new season, set to air on Netflix soon.
