Rhodes Scholars, selected annually, have the opportunity to pursue any full-time postgraduate degree at the University of Oxford, with limited restrictions on the choice of fields. Each year, a class of 95 Scholars is chosen from various countries and regions across the world.

Eligibility and Scholarship Value

Eligibility for the Rhodes Scholarships is based on citizenship and residency criteria specific to the Rhodes constituency for which an applicant is applying. Applicants must meet the age requirements, which state that they must be at least 18 years old and not have reached their 25th birthday by 1 October 2022. For older candidates who completed their first undergraduate degree later than usual, the maximum age limit is set at not having reached their 27th birthday by the same date.

Academic achievement is a crucial factor, and applicants must demonstrate high academic standing to ensure admission to the University of Oxford. The scholarship provides comprehensive coverage, including University and College fees, a living stipend, settling-in allowance, health insurance, visa expenses, and two economy class flights to and from the UK.
