Bonang Matheba’s Relationship History
Bonang Matheba has had several high-profile relationships in the entertainment industry. Here’s a quick look at her relationship history with some of the famous stars she’s been linked to.
Bonang dated the Swatta Kamp rapper, Slikour, from 2007 to 2008. In a 2016 interview with Slikour on Life, she spoke highly of him and said, “Until this day, I will never speak ill of you. I will never say anything negative about you because you have never been an a**hole towards me.”
Bonang’s relationship with DJ Euphonik between 2009-2012 has been labeled “toxic.” The romance quickly unravelled when B accused Euphonik of assaulting her. She later withdrew her charges. Speaking of his ex, Euphonik told Anele on her talk show Real Talk in 2016, “She has no dirt on me because I have played it very cleverly, but I have a lot of dirt on her‚ definitely. I’m just saying.”
Bonang had a brief romance with the Nigerian superstar, D’Banj, in 2015. They went public at the MTV Africa Music Awards, but D’Banj blind-sided fans when he hooked up with an ex-girlfriend just months later.
After being dumped by D’Banj, Bonang allegedly started a secret romance with the late rapper AKA in 2015. At the time, AKA was in a relationship with pregnant baby mama DJ ZInhle. After being called a “homewrecker,” Bonang and AKA became one of the industry’s most-loved couples. However, their romance ended dramatically in 2018 when AKA accused his ex of using witchcraft on him.
In addition to her public relationships, Bonang has been linked to several other famous stars, including soccer players Simphiwe Tshabalala and Itu Khune, Banele Mbere, one-half of Majorleague DJs, and a mystery Albanian businessman, whom fans identified as Fatmir Hysenbelliu.
